La Gioiosa Prosecco DOC comes from the official Prosecco region of Italy: Veneto, located between the beautiful Dolomites and the unique Venice. The perfect spot that allows Prosecco to have the ideal climate conditions to grow and produce the natvive grape of Glera.
It has lovely apple, peach, pear, and white flower flavors, with hints of citrus. Tasty and refreshing at the same time!
Perfect for aperitifs and an excellent base for new and traditional cocktails (Aperol, Mimosa…).
Prosecco is original from the East region of Italy, between the Dolomites and the Adriatic sea.
DOC stands for “Protected Designation of Origin”, and it means that Prosecco DOC can only be produced in a defined area.
Glera is the native grape of Prosecco. Its low sugar content, marked acidity and delicate notes are ideal to produce this sparkling wine.
Real Prosecco can only be sold in glass bottles, and never in tap or cans.
To guarantee the quality and authenticity, on the neck of the bottle there is the government DOC seal.

Prosecco is a wine, while the grape is called Glera. Glera is the official grape to make Prosecco. Do not trust Prosecco made with other grapes.
