Born and raised in Belluno, in the heart of the Dolomites, Faiz has cultivated a diverse athletic background that includes water polo and mountain sports like skiing and climbing. He attended liceo classico in Italy before moving to the U.S. in 2014 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in physics at Boston University. During his studies, he completed an impactful eight-month stint as a research assistant at CERN in 2019, where he worked on calibrating particle accelerators. His other passions include music, art, and nature; he finds joy in the mountains and often immerses himself in science fiction novels, seamlessly blending his interests in technology and the natural world.
