Brolettino is the wine in which Ca’ dei Frati’s native Turbiana achieves its most profound expression: a single‑vineyard Lugana, harvested mid‑October at optimal ripeness, that possesses structural depth and uncanny ageing potential.

Aged for 10 months in oak barrels, the wine achieves an elegance and texture rare among Lake Garda whites. On the nose, expect ethereal scents of ripe fruit – peaches, yellow apples, apricot, even rose petals – brushed with balsamic freshness; on the palate, a rich, enveloping yet vibrant energy balanced by stony minerality, culminating in refined freshness and length.

Reviewers consistently highlight its aromatic allure: James Suckling awarded the 2023 a 94, praising “ripe lychee, peach and restrained lemon notes… a smoky, stony character on a rounded and richly textured palate.”

By testament and bottle, Brolettino is that exceptional white that not only drinks beautifully young but also deepens over time – a Ca’ dei Frati classic in every sense.
