Juhee Ryou

Born and raised in Seoul, Juhee brings over 20 years of experience in the wine industry. She began her career in 2005 after studying Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management, building expertise in wine buying, brand management, and marketing.
She spent over 17 years with leading wine importers in South Korea, where she played a key role as a wine buyer and marketing manager, working closely with Italian wineries to develop and position their brands in the market.
Juhee has also served as a jury member for international wine competitions such as the Berlin Wine Trophy, Asia Wine Trophy, and VinAsia Awards.
She holds WSET Level 3 (2015) and the Italian Wine Scholar certification (Wine Scholar Guild, 2023), and is an Italian Wine Ambassador certified by the Vinitaly International Academy (2026).
Since joining Ethica Wines in 2022, she has been leading the South Korean market, driving the growth of Italian wine brands.
