Benjamin, a Connecticut native, discovered his passion for food and wine through early experiences gardening, cooking, and working outdoors. He earned a B.S. in Food & Beverage Management in Denver and built a strong foundation in both kitchens and front-of-house restaurant roles.
After an apprenticeship at a Michelin-starred restaurant in France, he became an assistant sommelier and later led a beverage program focused on Italian wines, earning a Wine Spectator Best Award of Excellence in 2020. When the pandemic shifted the industry, Benjamin transitioned into wine and spirits sales, joining Ethica Wines in 2023.
He now combines his culinary background, sommelier training, and deep love for Italian wine in his work—bringing knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm to everything he does.
